I’m really excited about everything having to do with this. These songs were made (and discarded, and reworked, and re-discarded and so on) over the past two years, finally assembled in a reasonable format at the behest of Ben Morey, who graciously offered to release some material of mine on his wonderful Yarn Bird record label. Ben is overseeing the design and packaging of the physical copy, too, and I’m excited about that as well. And I’m particularly excited to have been offered a chance to play some of these songs live at the Bug Jar next month with great musicians like the Future Band, the J. Arthur Keenes Band and Travis Johansen.

Releasing music (of my own) and playing shows (by myself) are mammoth concepts to me that I almost can’t surmount. The whole experience is, for me, very surreal, and I appreciate everything and everyone that made it possible.
